From concept design to real life structure

From concept design to real life structure

We recently took the whole office on a day trip to visit two of our current projects - Sir Thomas Fremantle School, and St. Gabriel’s Church of England Academy. Sir Thomas Fremantle has recently completed and opened to children at the start of this term. We visited just before term started, and the building was ready to open. It has some wonderful innovative spaces and is a great example of how carefully considered design can counteract the challenges of a very tight local authority budget. The second school we visited was St. Gabriel’s Church of England Academy, the first primary school in the new community of Houlton in Rugby. The school is mid-construction, but is progressing apace and looking beautifully designed and detailed.
