Josh travels to Eeklo to see our new building on site

"Recently paid a visit to the site of our new building for the College O.-L.-V.-ten Doorn in Eeklo, a small town in East Flanders between Ghent and Bruges. Part of the Flemish Governments 'Scholen van Morgen' programme, we won the project working with SMAK Architects in 2012, by proposing a mixture of new building and refurbishment which will transform their campus and its relationship to the town. This sports hall volume is elevated over a reception and flexible open learning spaces, forming a gateway building that defines a new square facing the town and a new quad within the college. Looking forward to my next visit to the Stabag site to see the progress with the flanking teaching block, and their samples for the brickwork and cladding materials."
