π· Join us on 26th September at Leicester Cathedral for an evening of discussion over drinks and nibbles, building tours and insight into the buildingβs history and its current upgrade and modernisation.
βͺ vHH Principal James McCosh and Associate Peter Hanson will be giving a tour of the site and an explanatory talk into our ongoing project to transform the Cathedral, through the reordering of the interior, upgrade of building services and a 4-storey Heritage Learning Centre extension.
β The completion of these works will enhance the Cathedrals mission, allowing it to offer a warm welcome to everybody who visits, with brand new facilities for orientation, education, and hospitality, designed to Passivhaus standards.
π€ This event is hosted by Leicester Cathedral, with tours kindly facilitated by Messenger Construction, and supported by RIBA East Midlands and Leicestershire & Rutland Society of Architects.
π‘ An ideal event for anyone interested in history, architecture, the conservation of historic buildings, and how to reduce their energy output through careful, sensitive interventions.
