Explore the stonework of Leicester Cathedral

Join a special tour on Thursday 27th March as part of the Richard III reinterral 10th anniversary celebrations

To mark the 10th Anniversary of the reinterment of Richard III, Leicester Cathedral are hosting various events, including a Carved in Stone Tour on Thursday, which takes you around the building to explore the use of stone in the architecture.
As part of the initial project which included the reordering of the cathedral spaces, we worked with Master Stonemason James Elliott to produce a remarkable new altar and the striking Richard III tomb. You can watch the process of making the tomb in this beautiful little film by Alex J. Wright
Book your tickets for the Carved in Stone tour on Thursday 27th March at 11.30am HERE
