You will be working in a small project team, at both design and construction stages We are looking for a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join our studio to work on a variety of projects, including education and adaptive reuse of historic buildings. You will be working in a small project team, at both design and construction stages.
Candidates must have some experience in a UK architects’ studio. Previous experience in the creative adaptation of historic buildings and/or education buildings is beneficial. A strong design portfolio, good project management and social skills and understanding of both traditional and contemporary detailing and materials. You need excellent CAD and graphics skills, including experience of working in Revit and Auto CAD, and the ability to write clear and persuasive reports.
Applications from experienced Part 1 students, looking to broaden their experience after at least a year in active practice, will be considered if you can demonstrate you have the necessary skills and judgement. You must provide a reference from your current employer.
