We are delighted to share news of our most recent project win, for a brand-new primary school as part of the emerging Waterbeach Barracks Development, Cambridgeshire. Following a detailed competitive process, we were awarded the commission for a new 3FE primary school which will be the cornerstone of the first key phase of this unique development, on the former MOD site. Cambridgeshire County Council brief for the school has set us extremely high sustainability targets to deliver a Nearly Zero- Energy Building (nZEB) which we are really excited about.
The school will be the central feature of the new neighbourhood, linking adjacent spaces and creating a local gathering destination for the 1600 members of the new community. We can’t wait to get going on this inspiring project and will keep you updated on progress.
