There
is a tangible sense of optimism on site as the subfloor is compacted and the
new insulation laid – it’s not coal but foamed glass pebbles - covered by a
geotextile ready to take the new limecrete floor slab.
Around
the space the walls are protected with a soft joint former and boxes are blocked
out to accept the floor boxes for running electric and AV cabling later. Myles

approve the revised sample of the vault lining brickwork, with a softer brushed
finish to the lime pointing.
