After
nearly 2 years on site, the new Quintin Kynaston Community Academy will soon be
handed over to Westminster Council. The new 9-form entry school is the final
piece in a complex jigsaw that has seen both it and George Eliot Primary School
totally rebuilt on a site in St John’s Wood, North London, and both schools’
facilities transformed.
The first pupils will be using the new QK buildings from January 2015, allowing the existing school to be demolished, and making way for new outdoor sports and social spaces.
The School was delivered under Westminster’s Building Schools for the Future programme.
