About The Project
The Alpha Plus Group commissioned us to produce a costed feasibility study for the reuse of the ‘At Risk’ grade II* Gunnersbury Small Mansion, in the grounds of Gunnersbury Park, as a private school. We demonstrated how the mansion could be repaired and creatively adapted to suit an educational use within the park, and had preliminary and positive discussions with English Heritage and the London Borough of Hounslow. This information allowed Alpha Plus to bid for a lease for the building. Despite being identified as the preferred bidder Alpha Plus reviewed the viability of the business model and decided not to proceed.
