New Rugby primary starting to take shape…
On the left you can see that rooflight reveals have been cast in concrete with a curved edge, to allow light to spill into the back of the classrooms. The central opening will house a wind-catcher to passively ventilate the room.
On the right, is a shot from inside the hyperbolic paraboloid roof! Look closely and you can see the roof gently twisting from corner to corner.
