Luckley Oakfield School Masterplan

Luckley House School sits in the grounds of a listed arts and crafts house, Ernest Newton House, on a suburban site. The informal layout has been extended over the past 40 years. Our primary concern was to address the loop access road to provide a more efficient means of access into the site and the parking area. We also looked at the development sites for the music and library buildings, performing arts building and swimming pool and defined a new series of informal outdoor spaces which have their own distinct character, but which still make sense of the surrounding lawns and the existing house. To date the changes to the access road and parking have been implemented and the performing arts building will benefit from this. The music and library buildings are towards the back of the site, so less affected by the changes. The proposed swimming pool will form an integral part of the new masterplan.
