Old Surgery, Sutton

Our proposal for a 3PD (third-party development) integrated health centre on the site of a former courthouse in central Sutton is designed to accommodate three substantial practices, as well as local out-of-hospital services, a retail unit and offices for let. The building’s organisation, structure and services are designed to enable the greatest possible flexibility. It emphasises clarity of circulation with generous daylit reception spaces surrounded by modular clinical and consulting facilities. The proposals build on the objectives of the London Borough of Sutton’s planning brief for this site, which seeks to provide health, community, commercial and retail spaces with active frontages that are part of their concerted effort to rejuvenate the town centre.
