Queen’s College Masterplan, Oxford University

Queen’s College, with its fine Hawksmoor influenced 18th century front quad, is on a restricted High Street site. It has an unusually unified feel, and has changed very little, particularly in recent years. We were commissioned to address issues such as the adequacy of the College’s catering, residential and teaching accommodation and the library. The project involved the analysis of existing accommodation and the development of costed options for the future, in order to allow the College to make decisions about where to focus its energies and finances in the short and long term.
