vHH were appointed to work with St Benedict’s and collaborate on the School’s future potential developments to strengthen and renew the identity of St Benedict’s School. The core aim identified was to ensure building projects that would facilitate the academic and pastoral aims of the School, for the future and continued success of St Benedict’s.
Following the completion of our 6th Form & ADT building and the New Ark Junior School, St Benedict’s were committed to continuing to make plans for further physical improvements to the School site. We agreed with the School that they did not require a full new Masterplan, but rather an interrogation and validation of their briefing documents and a critical review of the School’s site and aspirations, focusing on specific projects.
Our report developed as the School’s requirements for the masterplan evolved. It provides a summary for reference going forward, to inform decision making by providing a holistic overview and highlighting key issues in order to maximise the potential of the site.
